Proactive Habits

Proactive Habits are consistent action oriented, result oriented behaviors that explore opportunities and take preemptory action against potential problems and threats.

Simply put, a proactive person is someone who takes responsibility for his or her own life, rather than looking for or blaiming causes in outside circumstances or other people. Succeeding with anything in life is a direct result of you being a person congruent with your proactive habits.

Having habits that serve you and move you closer to what you want is the number one way to creating the lifestyle that you imagine for yourself. You see everything is possible if you consistently have the habit of believing that it can happen. What some people may think to be impossible, you can make possible because it is merely the power of your own thoughts that progresses you towards your endless future potential. You can see this quite evident in human history: think airplanes, putting a man on the moon, and the internet to name a few things that would have seemed impossible 100 years ago. Thus the power of what you believe is the power to move mountains and do just about anything. If you are looking to dramatically change the life you live, you can start with your very own thoughts. What you think about you bring about: make proactive thinking apart of your life by eliminating unesecary self limiting thoughts, ignoring other peoples negativity, and seeing the world as a world full of solutions instead of problems.

Of course, thinking proactively is great, but it is not enough. You could think proactively positive all day long and never get anywhere; thus, the next part of being proactive is in your actions. If you want to dramatically change your life from where it is today to where you would like it to be 5 years from today, 1 year from today, or even 3 months from today, you will need the habit of taking consistent steps that take you closer to your desired outcome. In essence, your habits are what make you and your proactive habits are what allow you to accomplish anything and allow you to control the lifestyle you want to live.

A few tips for you:

If you are caught in the blame game you must stop. It doesn’t matter where you are at right now, it matters where you are going. Even if you have been given the worst life circumstances, for example your grew up poor, you lacked opportunity, resources, the world has been against you. The problem with a mindset anywhere near this is that you focus on what you lack and you forget about what to be grateful for.

Plus, opportunity is all around you, take for example this website: if you are not doing well with your finances and you do not have enough time to enjoy life, then Wellness & Opportunity offers a business opportunity that you could easily look into and potentially go on to become financially free and finally put an end to the endless cycle of trading your time for dollars at your current job (you are much too valuable to have a boss telling you what to do; when instead, you can be your own boss and decide what hours you work and what dollar amount you want on your paychecks).

Remember,

The point is where are you now and where do you want to be? The past does not matter it is where you are going and how you feel in the present matter that makes the difference.

The point is that you can chastise yourself for not being where you want to be, but it will not help you, so why do it?

What you can do is pick up your feet and (once again) remember that it is not where you are now that counts, but it is where you are going.

Remember life is a journey not a destination. This is the lifestyle section of the website so our goal here at Wellness and Opportunity is to help you better your lifestyle.

To do this please continue your way on through so you can learn more about making proactive habits a part of your life. Also in this section we will go into what habits you can implement immediately to bring you positive changes.
